About this honey
Saratoga backs into the Santa Cruz Mountains where the air smells like redwood and bay laurel. Mike's apiaries sit on the edge of town where the manicured gardens give way to wild hillside. The honey runs medium-dark with a layered sweetness – you get a floral opening, then something almost woodsy underneath, like dried fruit in a warm kitchen. Limited batches.
